Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy, realized the importance of good nutrition in conjunction with homeopathy. He knew that often time's trace elements are missing from our diets and that of our pets too! Good nutrition is essential in the health of our pets but most commercial foods are lacking and they contain toxins, of which we are unaware. There's a lot of misunderstanding regarding proper nutrition for our cats and dogs, leading to kidney and skin problems to name a few.
Homeopathic remedies are useful in stimulating the neuro immune system, enhancing pathways, correcting malfunctions in absorption, detoxing and redistributing salts but we must also have good nutrition to re-build health.
In my practice we discuss nutrition in each case – the correct homeopathic remedy can re-build health but not without good nutrition.
